About

We are enthusiastic and highly creative engineering students at the University of Sheffield, with a unique passion for underwater robotics.

Our story began in 2017 when we became the first UK university team to participate in the international underwater robotics competition 'MATE ROV' in the USA.

We get hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to face real-life problems.

We promote engineering and technology and increase general awareness of STEM subjects, especially among the young generation and women. We achieve this by participating in various outreach events, both locally and on a national scale.

We are also members of the Sheffield Space Initiative.
